Do Not Let Anyone Crush Your Dreams

After all these weeks of silence, I thought it was time to give you an update of my Dream Life Challenge.

Since the beginning of the challenge, my strategy has been to invest as much as possible into courses and books of various kinds that will help me reach my goals. I have now learned some very powerful stuff and would love to share these resources with the people who share their dream(s) with me.

If you do not have a dream, I suggest you sit down and think until you get an answer. Of course, dreams can evolve over time, but you have to start somewhere.

I guess there are two main kinds of dreams: contribution and reward dreams. In my case my dream is to work as a researcher and a writer (contribution) and to travel around the world (reward). I actually have many more dreams, but those are the main ones at the moment.

So when you have at least a fairly good idea of your dream, I would love to hear about it and share with you a list of powerful resources that can help you achieve these dreams.

My current situation is very similar to Sylvester Stallone’s before his breakthrough: he had nothing left and even had to sell his dog to survive. I don’t have a dog, but I had to “sell” my dearest thing, which was the savings for my round-the-world trip, so that I could pay this month’s rent.

Stallone’s dream was to become an actor.

My dream is to work as a researcher and a writer. And no one is going to crush that dream. No one is going to convince me to take a regular job. All bridges behind me are burned now – the only option I have left is to succeed.

How far are you willing to go for your dreams?

Powerful forces are still keeping me away from the girl that I love and from earning my life doing what I love.

But even though my bank account dries out, I am growing stronger and stronger every day – and it is my sincere wish that this blog will inspire you to go for your own dreams and help other dreamers on the way.

If people who have dreams start to help each other (with what they can), then each one of them would not need to go through struggles similar to Stallone’s or mine. Furthermore, the good news is that there is plenty of knowledge out there to help you achieve your dreams. But you have to take a decision first. Success is a decision away. I took that decision on February 21st, when I launched my Dream Life Challenge.

I take the opportunity of this post to share with you a very powerful technique that could be the springboard to your dreams: it is called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping) and hundreds of thousands of people are already using it to get rid of their emotional blocks: check out http://www.tapping.com/ or http://www.thetappingsolution.com/. There are many great videos about EFT on YouTube as well.

Below is also a link to a document that explains more in detail the research work that I am doing. Any contacts or ideas that can help me finance my research and writing are very welcome. Thank you.

So, remember, do not let anyone crush your dreams:

So, now I am going to get it. Period.

P.S.: Stallone was able to buy back his dog later – it even starred in the movie Rocky with him: http://www.endlesshumanpotential.com/sylvester-stallone-story.html

Spring Time

I just moved to Paris last week. In time for spring. This might not seem like anything special, but the thing is that this is a big step for me towards my dream life. Destiny wanted me to get a home exchange opportunity to come and live in Paris.

Destiny? What if I told you that I am not totally surprised that this opportunity came up?

Well, there are some specific steps you can take in order to get what you want in life. But unfortunately, most successful people who get what they want are not really sure how they did and are not able to teach others how it works.

Recently, I found two different courses, who are actually teaching this, and results are timidly starting to show up. The thing is that it is a skill that you need to master, maybe a little like playing piano: it needs a lot of practice before you get good at it. And as with piano, you can always get better.

Things are starting to move. I will be in Las Vegas in three weeks’ time. What is happening? Well, one week after I took my decision to launch the Dream Life Challenge, I met a lady who introduced me to a course that not only teaches people how to become millionaires, but also how to get anything else they want in life. And there is a get-together in Las Vegas for people attending this course.

I would love to share more with you, but as you know, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas ;-)

OK, don’t worry, I will do my best to help anyone who has dreams out there. Talking about dreams and thinking big, I witnessed an amazing example in Versailles yesterday: the grandeur of the Château and its gardens tells a lot about Louis XIV’s visions made reality.

Did he understand the process his mind went through to create something like that?

I take the opportunity of this post to thank all the people who have shown enthusiasm and support for my Dream Life Challenge. Thank you!

To make it easier for you to follow my blog, I have added a link at the bottom of each page of the blog where you now can subscribe to the Dream Life Challenge blog by e-mail (“Follow”).

Also, I am looking for a few people who are really motivated to make their own dreams reality, so that I can share some additional insights with them. So if you have a dream that is bigger than what you currently think is possible, then please write to me: henrik@hillerstrom.com.

Fortunately we do not all dream of 2,300 rooms and 815 hectares living space, but most of us would not complain about something slightly bigger than what we have today.
